Hello, my name is Mike. Yup, I have a people name too- I am my human Mommy's namesake. My birth name is Sardis Eugene.
Sometimes they call me 'Mikey', 'Mikey-Roo', or even 'Mikey-Woo' because one of the first photographs they saw of me, I was roo'ing.
I was born September 22, 2007. I too am an Italian Greyhound, my birth parents are Dark Legends Kallisto and Dark Legends Matrix GRC SC.
The last time Mommy & Daddy took me to the doctor, they weighed me and the machine said I was 16.5 pounds. I think that makes me what
they call, a 'biggy iggy'. I am neutered because Mommy & Daddy want to leave the breeding to the professionals. I am very lucky to have
a beautiful blue coat, with a splash of white on my chest- my superhero mark. Maybe that is why I am super agile and quick as lightning!
I make the crowds ooh and ahh as I race past them and leave the other dogs barking in frustration. My brother is deaf, so I have learned
a few hand signals myself- although I am stubborn, I love to learn. I am a friendly dog too, but sometimes bigger dogs or unusual dogs
make me nervous- I usually just outrun them but sometimes, they are quite persistent of me and I take refuge by jumping effortlessly to my
Mom & Dad's shoulders. This must be a great feat as well, because it's usually followed up by mutters of amazement and laughter.
Some of my favorite things to do are running and jumping, chasing squirrels and birds, snuggling and napping with my family,
playing king of the mountain (because I'm always on top) and eating. Nothing perks me up more than hearing someone mention cheese, chicken,
food, eat or cookie- not to mention dog park, outside or collar!
